Many people have talents that go unrecognized or under-utilized. Barriers to inclusion such as socio-economic status, ethnicity, gender, age, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, education and religion are varied and sometimes keep people from participating in and contributing to the arts.
If structural barriers and circumstances like these are preventing you from pursuing your filmmaking aspirations, FAVA’s P.OV Scholarship program might be a resource for you.
Scholarship includes:
a free one-year FAVA membership
tuition fees for one of FAVA’s media arts programs
