Sean is a seasoned writer and storyteller with over 10 years of professional writing and editing experience across numerous disciplines. A former university writing fellow and Norton Scholar’s Prize nominee, Sean earned his MA in writing from the world-renowned University of Chicago before moving on from the academic world to refocus on his lifelong passion of storytelling for the screen.
In addition to writing and editing, Sean began producing work for the screen three years ago with the dramatic short Things We Keep, and since then has produced work for everyone from Juno award-winning musicians to internationally-touring comedians to nonprofit organizations. Since moving to Alberta, Sean has worked with clients including The Comic Strip, Alfie Zappacosta, GNR Entertainment, NAIT, Canadians for a Civil Society (CCS), Stantec, BaconfestYEG, The Mojave Iguanas, and the Film and Video Arts Society of Alberta (FAVA).
As a featured humour columnist, video editor, and online content curator, Sean’s original works have generated over 12+ million views and more than 17,000 subscriptions on Youtube and other major media sharing platforms in the last few years alone. He is currently attached to two upcoming feature films as an associate producer – his third and fourth feature-length films to date.
