MediaNet is pleased to announce the tour of IndigeVision: ᓃᐲᕀ ᐁᑲᐧ ᐊᐢᑮᕀ ll nîpîy êkwa askîy ll water and land, a program of Indigenous films that speak to the importance of our relationship to the natural environment and how that shapes our epistemologies, languages, and worldviews.

In April of 2018, MediaNet presented Indigevision, an Indigenous film showcase, from April 13-15. Curated by Eli Hirtle, two programs were presented at the First People’s House at the University of Victoria, and two more programs were shown at the Newcomb Theatre at the Royal BC Museum.
MediaNet serves artists and the public in the Greater Victoria region, on the ancestral territory of the Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations and also the W’asanec speaking peoples of the Pauquachin, Tsartlip, Tseycum and Tsawout First Nations.
