With a background in theatre and arts, Eva has created a wide variety of films in the dramatic, documentary and experimental genre as well as PSAs and video imagery for dance and theatre performances. Her films have been screened at many festivals around the world and on national television. Eva was selected for the prestigious WIDC-Women in the Directors Chair at the Banff Centre and has received several awards for her cinematic accomplishments. Eva has served on the board of several municipal and provincial art organizations and has been a jury member for various film festivals, funding agencies and arts organizations. Eva has taught at FAVA off and on over the years and her enthusiasm for the creative process and support of emerging talent has been endless.
Larry Kelly
The majority of Larry’s filmmaking experience has been working as a grip. He has also operated camera, directed a music video, and recently started working in the art department and special effects. His on set interests lie in facilitating in-camera special effects and creative camera support solutions like car rigs, as well as helping to create and execute stunts. He is known as FAVA’s resident MacGyver. In 2014 Larry started Transform Grip Gear Ltd. He now has a shop where he can develop new products for the film industry and build custom rigs for filmmakers.
