September 15, 6:00 PM - November 24, 9:00 PM$950
Video Kitchen is our introductory class and a prerequisite to Main Course. Video Kitchen provides a creative place to explore and express your ideas visually. Ingredients you’ll mix together include: screenwriting, budgeting, scheduling, casting, camera technique, shot lists, storyboards, lighting, sound, and editing. You’ll have lots of opportunities to get your hands dirty as you cook up your own 4-6 minute short film. Dramatic, documentary, or experimental projects are encouraged. All the necessary FAVA gear rentals are included in the class price – you couldn’t rent the gear to make your movie for less than the price of the whole class!
Please be advised that this class is currently planned to take place in-person at The Orange Hub. The structure and schedule of the class may be modified as needed to ensure adequate social distancing and meet Covid-19 best practices. Any changes will be communicated to registered participants as they develop.
The class runs for 10 weeks on Thursday evenings, Sept 15 to Nov 24 from 6pm to 9pm. There will be no class on Oct 20th.
