Learn something new in 2022! Improve your technical skills and learn the language of intermediate filmmaking! This curriculum
is designed to elevate the technical skills needed to fully realize your vision. With the guidance of instructors, you’ll decide whether to shoot on the ARRI SR3, ARRI III, AC-160, or EPIC.

Learn how to level a dolly, the difference between a maffer, cardellini and gator clamp, and the importance of sound design and colour correction. Dramatic, documentary or experimental projects are welcome and encouraged. All the necessary FAVA gear rentals are included in the class price, you couldn’t rent the gear to make your movie for less than the price of this class!

Please be advised that this class is currently planned to take place in person at The Orange Hub. The structure and schedule of the class may be modified as needed to ensure adequate social distancing and meet Covid-19 best practices. Any changes will be communicated to registered participants as they develop.

Class runs weekly from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm for 12 weeks: February 26 – May 28, 2022 (No class April 16th or May 21st)
