How To: Grant Writing

In this online workshop, participants will learn all the tips and tricks for making the perfect grant application. This workshop will focus on the Edmonton Arts Council individual grants (EAC) and the Alberta Foundation for the Arts film and video project funding (AFA), although what is covered in this workshop will be applicable for the majority of arts funding.
Registrants will receive the following deliverables:
- PDF package of the slides used in the presentation
- sample of an artist CV
- sample project proposal
- sample project budget

Instructor: Jamie McRae
Jamie McRae is an independent artist from Edmonton, AB. whose focus is on visual arts, experimental filmmaking, and photography. Working with the Film and Video Arts Society Alberta since 2014, Jamie has taught Video Kitchen multiple times, and has both personal and professional grant writing expertise.
**Please note the online session will not be recorded. Refunds will not be given to those who cannot attend the online session. All registrants will still receive the above deliverables. Payment must be completed to participate in the workshop.
