Camera Assistant Workshop
November 27, 2021, 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
FREENOTE: This workshop is currently full. You may apply to be added to the waitlist; typically with free workshops there are some who are unable to make it.
In this one day workshop, participants are going to have hands on experience with all things camera. The Camera Department as a whole will be explained, all roles within the department, the responsibilities of each person, and how they all interact. Once this is done, we are going to build a camera package together and experience how to run a Camera team. We will see how the 1st Assistant interacts with the 2nd Assistant, and how they work as a team to keep the camera in shape and rolling. Once you take this workshop, you’ll feel confident in how to best support your cinematographer in the collective goal of making a project happen.
