Act Out! – Teen Film Acting Camp

Act Out! is a full-day camp for ages 13-17 for the week of July 10 – July 14. It will teach students the basics of acting, focusing on acting for film. Students will be coached through warm-ups, learn what film acting is all about, gain experience in front of the camera, and, most importantly, have fun! There will be opportunities for students to perform a 30-second close-up scene on camera and receive feedback, as well as have the opportunity to do Q & A’s with industry professionals.
Students will receive the following:
- Deeper understanding of the film industry with specifics to acting
- a USB of their filmed scene
Where: Studio B (Room 136), The Orange Hub (10045 156 Street Northwest, Edmonton)
When: July 10th – 14th, 2023, 10:00am – 2:00pm MDT
