Marie-France is a FAVA member, and has been an Assistant to the Gotta Minute Film Festival.

Marie-France has been active in the film and television industry in Edmonton for over 10 years. She began her journey in television at a mere 14 years of age when she was a co-host on a kid’s TV show on CBC/Radio-Canada Television. Since then, she has worked on many CBC/Radio-Canada specials and television series as Senior and Executive Producer.
As a passionate writer, producer, and director Marie-France is dedicated to creating television and films that entertain, enlighten and connect with a variety of audiences in French and in English. She has successfully produced two documentaries, television series, corporate, promotional and commercial videos, as well as educational programming winning her awards and multiple nominations for her work.
Marie-France’s Executive Producer credits include the long-running national Radio- Canada children’s television show: “ONIVA!” As an experienced show-runner she has the ability to manage all aspects of a large-scale production and the capacity to create and deliver a project keeping in mind the digital and online technologies used today to engage and satisfy the viewers.
She has developed the art of documentary storytelling as the writer and director of two documentary films produced with ONF/NFB : “Le choeur d’une culture” and “Mon père le roi”.
Currently Marie-France is co-founder and producer of her independent production company: Productions LOFT. She is dedicated to volunteering within Alberta’s arts and culture community as a member of the Board of Directors of The RAFA: Rassemblement artistique francophone de l’Alberta, a provincial arts service organization.
