Fava’s JK Meritex K105 Film/Digital Optical Printer can print from many film format sources including S8, 16mm, Super 16, and 35mm (both camera stock and print stock). Regular 8 available with advance notice. It has a built in 16mm Bolex so you can capture your images on 16mm or super 16, or you can switch out the capture camera to the Canon DSLR.
As a film printer, it is capable of many incredible special effects and is a wonderful creative tool for the filmmaker. As a digital printer it is a cost saving film transfer device. You can now capture very high res scans of your film (up to 5K for super 16 and 35mm!) in RAW and JPEG format ready to use as a QT image sequence in your digital timeline.
A 16mm Steenbeck is on site for handy film viewing.
