FAVA FEST | MARCH 18 – 23

Following the resounding success of our inaugural FAVA FEST in 2012, The Film and Video Arts Society – Alberta (FAVA) is rolling out the red carpet and inviting Edmontonians to join in the celebrations at FAVA FEST 3D: Film and Video Arts Festival, March 18-23, 2013. We’re hosting a 3D Trade Show; screening more than 30 films from Northern Alberta and away; bringing in an award-winning guest for our Artist Talk, and giving away $20,000 worth of awards at FAVA GALA on March 23, 2013. Come for the awards and stay for the after party with Amy van Keeken’s Rock and Roll Sing-a-long!

After completing studies at NAIT and the UofA, Todd Cherniawsky made his way to graduate school at the American Film Institute to study under Robert Boyle, one of Hitchcock’s great art directors. For the last ten years, Todd has been fortunate to play key roles in bringing the imaginary worlds of AVATAR, ALICE IN WONDERLAND, TRANSFORMERS 3, SUCKER PUNCH, and OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL to life.
